A Diabolical Plan
Cast & Crew
Episode 1: "A Diabolical Plan" – The League of Chaos Mini-Series
In the opening episode of The League of Chaos, we are introduced to a quirky team of computer hackers with big ambitions but even bigger flaws. Led by Derrick, the self-proclaimed "Overlord" of the group, the team embarks on their first chaotic mission to target local small businesses that have yet to upgrade from Windows 7 to Windows 10 Pro. In a cringe-worthy presentation filled with poorly designed clip art, Derrick unveils his overly complicated and flawed plan to hack these businesses— in an attempt to gain the coveted spot in the "Hacker Hall of Fame."
The team, consisting of Derrick, Keith, Moose, and Jayda, quickly reveals their questionable motives. Their true goal isn't just to cause chaos—it’s all about recognition in the hacking community. As Derrick passionately explains their objective, a vague reference is made to a previous failed mission in Utica, adding a layer of mystery and potential history to their antics.
As Derrick pitches his plan, it’s clear that his leadership is shaky at best. Keith, the most tech-savvy member of the group, suggests a much simpler target: his own tech-averse grandparents, setting the stage for the team’s first, laughably misguided attempt at a "hack." The episode blends slapstick humor with an undercurrent of genuine hacker ambition, making A Diabolical Plan the perfect introduction to this lovable band of anti-heroes. It’s clear from the start that these characters, while bumbling and far from competent, are determined to leave their mark on the hacking world—no matter the cost.
